The schedule was prepared by our guides and takes into consideration both weather conditions and preferences of our clients. List of expeditionsTarrifsEvery expedition involves costs. In this section you will find the costs and prices of every expedition or event organized by our company. Prices differ due to the cost of transport (plane ticket fares) and program options. You will find information and details about every event in the Expeditions section. About our eventsOur trips are designed for those who yearn for action and adventure and who are not satisfied with the traditional bus tours where you can see things from the inside of your vehicle. What is trampping ?Due to various forms of transport: airplane, car, ferry, train, bus, this way of traveling saves us a lot of time and effort while moving from one destination to another. We only book our plane tickets in advance, the tickets are always open as we leave the date of the departure to our clients. We find accommodation as we travel, in local hostels or we rent the rooms. It helps us to maintain low costs of the expedition. Budget travels are becoming more and more attractive to the tourists because they offer a real experience and are cheaper than trips organized by the travel agencies. We put emphasis on outdoor activities, flexible schedule, individual condition and preferences. Participants must keep in mind that partner expeditions sometimes become delayed due to transport failures, uncertain political conditions and weather conditions. Our participants can choose the standard of their accommodation. It cannot be changed once we set on the road. What to take on a journey ?Every participant is obliged to take certain type of equipment to ensure his or her safety during the expedition. Please note that some expeditions require special types of clothes to protect yourself from extreme conditions. Our participants need to have: a valid passport, additional ID, wallet, medicines if required, money (cash and spare change), credit cards if needed (VISA, MASTERCARD), sunglasses (UV filters), sun scream, protective layers for the shoes, climbing iron, ice hammer, mug, bag pack, water flask, flashlight, battery, warm sleeping bag, air mattress, gloves, cutlery, warm jacket, cap or hat, cardigan or sweater, additional cotton underwear, waterproof pants, comfortable shoes - for walking long distances. Additional information is passed to each participant of the expedition before departure. What to take for the event?First of all our participants must bring sense of humor and good spirit to join. Additionally sleeping bag, mattress and a small bag pack will come in handy. Comfortable shoes and waterproof jacket can also be taken. More than Explore provide specialist equipment for rock and mountain climbing, tents and many other essential items. How we travel, what we eat and where we sleep?- we use local public transport systems while moving. To reach difficult destinations we are often taking planes. Traveling the same way as local people is not only a good idea if we plan on keeping our costs down but we are also experiencing every-day lives of the countries that we visit. - we find accommodation in hostels or in private houses (a place to sleep on a roof of the house is a common example of hospitality in the Middle East countries). Before we depart our clients choose the standard of the accommodation. - we eat in small restaurants and bars, we have the opportunity to try local dishes. Mountain expeditions require preparing our own meals in the camping site. SafetyWe put emphasis on our participants` safety. Every expedition is prepared and led by experienced guides and instructors. We use our own equipment during the events. We have tested this equipment in every condition during our own explorations. Our events are often secured by Mountain Rescue Service (GOPR) members who are both our co workers and colleagues. HealthOur participants need to have their health checked before going to the exotic locations or climbing high mountains. If you require certain medicines make sure they are in your bag, also try to determine what amount you need to take to avoid running out of your medicines, because you may not be able to purchase them abroad. Visiting a dentist is a wise move, especially if you plan to travel by plane or climb in the mountains. Information about required inoculation are passed to each participant before the departure. InsuranceOur participants are insured during our explorations or events. We use only the packages offered by leading insurance agencies from Poland and abroad. In some cases we ask our participants to sign health and risk declaration forms. You may want to insure your luggage because it can be damaged or lost on the way to our destination.* You can also insure yourself in case of having to resign from the exploration!* More Than Explore shall not be held responsible if any of our participants will lose or damage their own luggage. You may receive more information before the departure. Visas, passport, permissionsOur participants need visas to most countries we visit on our expeditions. They also need permissions to enter national parks or permission to climb mountains. Every member of the group needs to have a valid passport ( valid at least for 6 months after returning !). Before leaving the country we will get all visas and permissions needed on the journey and we will hand them to participants. Our pricesOur prices includes all organizational fees (plane tickets, visas costs, permissions costs, health insurance, VAT tax, guides, our commission) plus the minimal amount of money every participant has to take with him/her for the expedition. That amount of money will allow us to pay for the accommodation, tickets, porters etc. Prices posted on the website are also minimal, they can be changed for various reasons. We are not able to determinate the prices changes since the last time we visited certain country. Prices in different countries can change very quickly due to climate, weather condition, number of tourists, lack of accommodation, political situation etc. Our guides always carry a "reserve budget" with them that can be used in critical situations. More Than Explore reserves the right to change the price of the expedition if:
Changes can be made no less than 3 weeks before the start of expedition. More than Explore team will inform all participants about them by sending letters or e mails. Last MinuteWe don't encourage anyone to apply for participation just before the deadline. Last minute reservations aren't cheaper . If you decide to join one of our expeditions 30 days before setting off, you will have to pay the entire price at once as we need to pay for your visa, permissions and plane tickets. Only groups can negotiate last minute prices. How to make a reservation?If you want to make a reservation, please contact one of our offices at once. We will help you and provide you with all necessary documents and information. After making a reservation one of our workers will contact you within 48 hours to confirm the details (date of expedition etc) Applying in a traditional wayIf you are interested in participating in one of our expedition, you are more than welcome to visit one of our offices.
