Scheduled program
Nairobi - Moshi - Kilimanjaro - Lake Manyara National Park - Ngoro-Ngoro crater - Serengeti National Park
We fly to Nairobi from where we continue to Moshi in Tanzania. In the town we are granted permission from the local authorities to access Kilimanjaro. During 6 days of trekking in the Machame Route area we have an opportunity to sightsee the mountain from three sides: from the west, south and from the west. The route is picturesque and pleasant and offers a good amount of time to acclimate to the environment. Afterwards we continue to the Lake Manyara National Park. The park is situated near a lake and is a shelter to impala, gazelles and buffalos. You can also encounter lions that climb the trees, hyenas, giraffes, hippopotamus and over 350 species of birds. We leave park for another destination- Ngoro-Ngoro crater. The bottom of the crater now resembles savanna, which is why nearly all animals that live in the Western Africa can be spotted on this natural pasturage. Then we proceed to famous Serengeti National Park. During the period from May to June the park becomes a shelter for the migrating herds of ungulate mammals such as antelopes (impala, gnu), zebras, gazelles and buffalos. In the park tourists can encounter giraffes, elephants, rhinoceros, lions, leopards, hyenas and jackals.
